Workshops
Workshop One
Parent Well-Being
- What does it mean to parent with compassion?
- What does it mean to be compassionate towards ourselves?
- Why is it important?
- How do you stay calm in times of stress?
In the Parent Well-Being workshop, we will explore aspects of compassion – what it is and why it is important for ourselves and our children. We will look at the role of stress – how it impacts our ability to parent with compassion and ways to stay calm in the middle of stress.
No Parent Well-Being workshop is currently scheduled.
Workshop Two
Compassionate Kids: Teaching Social and Emotional Skills at Home
- What are social and emotional skills?
- Can we increase our children’s (and our own) emotional vocabulary?
- How does stress impact our ability to connect with our family?
This workshop digs into these questions and gives you activities you can do with your family to build caring and compassion at home.
Next Compassionate Kids workshop is November 25th from 7 till 8pm. It is a free, online workshop.
Workshop Three
Family Focus
- What values does your family hold?
- How do you communicate those values to your children?
- What is the culture of your family?
- How can you create a Family Charter?
In the Family Focus workshop, we will explore the story of your family – what it is, what you would like it to be, and how to change it. You will leave with practical ideas for connecting with your family and bringing your children into the conversation.
No Family Focus workshop is currently scheduled.
